RE: Carriage Mill Homeowners Association Annual Meeting

The meeting will take place at the Kempsville Library on Saturday, March 16, 2024 @ 10:30 am. We know the meeting is a little late this year, however, it couldn’t be avoided as the Library has their meeting room blocked off Febraury thru March for voting and this was the 1st available time slot.  Please e-mail us with any topics you would like to discuss so we can add it to the agenda and/or prepare any information if needed.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

RE: Neighborhood Complaints

We are getting more comlpaints of people DUMPING on Canterford Lane and have now upgraded to include appliances, these items will NEVER be picked up without scheduling a Bulk pick-up and this is highly disrespecful to the neighborhood and the owners within it.  If you have any Bulk items they need to be placed outside your home on the day of trash collection AFTER you have scheduled a Bulk pickup with waste management.  This DOES NOT cost you anything but a few moments of your time to make the call and doing so will help preserve the community rather than turning it into a dump.

Another complaint is the overflow of vehicles, most of them being Commercial and Abandoned vehicles taking up our valuable excess parking spaces.  PLEASE report these vehicles so the city can remove them and allow our actual homeowners to have the excess parking when needed.  Commercial Vehicles should NEVER be parked on city streets within a neighborhood this includes Dullies, Work Vans, Tractor Trailors, etc.

RE: Mowing Season

Spring is near and soon comes bi-weekly mowing.  Please be aware when these vehicles are in the neighborhood and allow them the space to do their work without blocking their access and to avoid any possibility of harm coming to your property in the meantime.

On this topic, we will post on this website if/when any other work is being completed within the neighborhood to allow for the same courtesy of allowing them the space to work and protecting your property.
